ENSA accepts all schools, supporting associations, PTOs and NGOs that work together with schools as applicants for their funding. Projects in which schools and NGOs work together are most likely to receive a financial and educational support from the ENSA program. Special consideration is given to applications of young adults from disadvantaged areas in Germany or with poor access to education and training.
Applicants should possess advanced skills in educational work in the field of development policy. The concept should be based upon long-term joint activities. The application must clearly show that the projects are dedicated to understanding and learning about development policies. ENSA finances the stay and the training of young adults from Germany in developing or transitional countries (out-going projects). The current list of developing countries can be downloaded from the ENSA-Homepage. It is necessary to make sure that the selected region is not a crisis region. ENSA equally supports young adults from developing and emerging countries partaking in an exchange with Germany (in-coming).
